reg Goode is a Christian first, then an American, then a conservative, and then a Republican--in that order. He lives in Terre Haute with his wife Leslie and three year-old son Jackson. His family heritage is found throughout the heart of the Eighth Congressional District including Parke, Putnam, Sullivan, Vermillion and Vigo Counties.
Greg is a graduate of Terre Haute South High School and earned two degrees from Indiana State University. He is currently finishing his doctorate from Virginia Tech University in public administration and policy.

His success in spurring economic development opportunities throughout his community is evident in several downtown revitalization projects.
Greg worked with Governor Mitch Daniels to secure $27 million to develop a state-of-the-art facility for the ISU College of Education. He worked with Senators Evan Bayh and Richard Lugar for funding for the ISU College of Business and with Terre Haute City officials on the Cherry Street Joint Development project.
Greg has received the Jones Award and University Medallion for service to ISU. The Terre Haute Tribune Star has praised Greg as “smart, articulate, and well-informed on public policy issues.”
From 1996-2000, Greg worked closely with Congressman Ed Pease, serving as one of his chief aides and focused on National Security, Transportation, and Education issues. He personally assisted Congressman Pease during the House Impeachment hearings against Bill Clinton. In 2001 Greg served as Chief of Staff for former Congressman Brian Kerns.
Greg is a social and fiscal conservative. He is a supporter of Indiana Right to Life and the Wabash Valley Crisis Pregnancy Center. Greg Goode is running for Congress not just to oppose the liberal policies and votes of Barack Obama, Hillary Clinton, Nancy Pelosi, and the incumbant 8th District Representative, he is running for "A New Covenant for the Conservative Cause," based on balancing the Federal budget, lowering taxes, protecting the jobs of our heartland from being given to China, defending our heritage and values, protecting our homeland from illegal aliens, supporting our men and women in uniform, and fighting for I-69 and other transportation priorities.
Greg Goode will restore a rock-solid, reliable, conservative voice in the US Congress!
